BoJack Horseman

Safe — no visual nudity or sex

Sex & Nudity Content

Visual content only. References, dialogue, and jokes don't count.

  • Sexual content is generally mild and inconsistent, with many episodes containing only sexual jokes, innuendos, or references. Most of the more suggestive material appears during the earlier seasons and becomes less frequent later in the series.
  • No explicit human sex scenes or graphic human nudity are shown. Brief sex scenes are generally obscured or cut away from within seconds.
  • Season 1, Episode 1: A woman is briefly shown on top of BoJack during sex; moaning is heard, but no nudity is visible.
  • Season 3, Episode 4: A baby seahorse's non-detailed frontal nudity is visible throughout much of the episode.
  • Animal nudity occasionally appears in paintings, while BoJack is briefly shown nude from behind in one scene.
  • The show's human and anthropomorphic animal characters occasionally have romantic or intimate relationships, which may include interspecies relationships within the fictional world.
  • Crude sexual jokes and verbal references occur occasionally, but most relationships are portrayed without explicit sexual content.
