Mindhunter

Unsafe — contains visual nudity and/or sex scenes

Sex & Nudity Content

Visual content only. References, dialogue, and jokes don't count.

  • Several sex scenes appear throughout the series, ranging from implied intimacy to more explicit scenes involving thrusting, moaning, female breast nudity, male buttocks, and occasional male full-frontal nudity.
  • Sexual content is not constant, but some scenes are fairly graphic.
  • There is extensive and often disturbing sexual dialogue throughout the series, largely because the story focuses on FBI agents interviewing serial killers and sex offenders.
  • Criminals discuss sexual crimes and disturbing subjects including rape, incest, necrophilia, and sexually motivated murder in considerable detail.
  • Some sexual scenes involve oral sex and other intimate acts, accompanied by explicit dialogue.
  • Season 1 contains more visible nudity and sexual content, while Season 2 contains no female nudity and fewer explicit intimate scenes.
  • Masturbation is depicted or implied in a few scenes.
  • Overall, the visual sexual content is relatively limited compared with the show's extensive and highly disturbing sexual discussions.
